CoP Presentation

Presentation for the first group crit showing the work I've got for the project so far / initial ideas etc.
Explaining where I am at this point:

Initial Proposal Form:

...Just realised that I need to fill in a third question before the crit.

Right now I'm feeling a bit confused as to what specific direction I'm going to be moving forward in, but I have a rough idea. Fred's CoP briefing last week made me feel miles better about the project.. Instead of seeing the dissertation as a huge mammoth task that I'm going to hate every minute of, I'm starting to get that it's just a project that I can choose the direction of. The subject is something that I find interesting even if it's something that I don't understand yet, and the practical side of it is something that I want to do as it's self initiated. I don't know why I didn't get this before, but it's only just clicked.

I'm not sure about my practical yet, but I'm hoping that I can focus in on what I want to get good / better at. I know I want to improve my relief printing skills, and I think that this project opens up a really good opportunity for me to extend my lino printing into wood cut or trying out engraving. This would work well with the period of history that I would be researching, whilst having a positive impact on my practice.

My action plan is pretty vague, but I'm not certain at this point how realistic I'm being about my word count targets. I'm hoping the group crit will help to clarify some of these doubts.
